‘Along with Westerly, TWC believes in promoting emerging and established voices that align with the values of both organisations and committing to an anti-racist and anti-colonial vision of the arts in practice. It is especially important to continue to do the work of making art, writing stories, singing songs and affirming solidarity with people whose voices are being silenced, disregarded and erased. In this issue you will find voices that amplify resistance, as writers grapple with the limits of solidarity in imperial contexts and what it means to make visible or to voluntarily erase.’
