Some of Australia’s most influential and award-winning Indigenous writers lend their voices to the latest issue of Westerly.

Celebrating Indigenous writing and culture, and guest edited by writer and researcher Stephen Kinnane, the issue features 51 authors from across the country including Kim Scott, Tara June Winch, Melissa Lucashenko, Bruce Pascoe and Wayne Barker, as well as work by celebrated Noongar artist Bella Kelly and pieces from the Berndt Museum collection.

This issue marks a new direction for Westerly, with the launch of an Editorship for Indigenous Writing. As a commitment with our new Editorship, Westerly will publish Indigenous content in every issue, and will focus on supporting emerging Indigenous writers.
