Why not subscribe to two Australian literary journals at once? This special offer of a joint subscription to Westerly and Meanjin amounts to less than $19 per issue, delivered directly from the printer to your address of choice.
Meanjin was founded in Brisbane by Clem Christesen in 1940 and moved to Melbourne in 1945 at the invitation of the University of Melbourne, becoming an imprint of Melbourne University Publishing in 2008. Known primarily as a literary magazine, Christesen ensured that Meanjin reflected the breadth of contemporary thinking, be it on literature, other art forms, or the broader issues of the times. This breadth has characterised Meanjin for more than 70 years.
Published four times a year and online, Meanjin is one of Australia’s best, and oldest, literary journals
Joint subscription includes 2 issues of Westerly (in print and digital format) and 4 issues of Meanjin per yer.
Unless we hear from you with a specific request, this subscription will commence with the next print issue of Westerly. Please note that, given our twice-annual publication schedule, if there has been an issue released recently, you may wait some months before you receive your first issue.
